Do student exchanges look good on universiy applications?
on all, or just depending on the program? I live in canada and will be going to a canadian university, but for grade 12 I am doing a 6 month exchange to belgium (most likely) would this look good on university applications?

Yes. It shows independence, curiosity about the world, maturity, self-determination, etc.
