My family's foreign exchange student has an eating disorder.?
She's form Belgium, and she's 18. We got her about five months ago, and she leave on the 23rd. I think she has an eating disorder. She's pretty much anorexic. She doesn't eat breakfast, or lunch. She only eats dinner, but hse doesn't even really eat that. She might have a piece of toast, or a yogurt. Today, all she ate was two tangerine's. My mom has confronted her about it, and she said that she just didn't have an appetite. I don't think that's true though, because she has mentioned to my grandmother than she (the foreign exchange student) has gained a lot of weight since she's been her. But she hasn't gained anything, she's probably lost about ten pounds to be honest. (because she doesn't eat) She drinks water constantly, and I've walked past the bedroom and have seen her jogging in place. My mom has already contacted the student's mother about it. That didn't do much good though. I'm telling you, this girl is SKINNY. She looks sick. Also, I need your advice: I don't like her. She has talked about me before, calling me rude. She always has this disgusted look on her face, and she rolls her eyes sometimes. She gets my mom to go to a special store to buy her special bread(that's the only thing that she'll eat, and in very small amounts), which she doesn't even pay my mom back for. She gets my mom to drive her to her dance lessons, and I'm pretty sure she doesn't even say thank you. I'm just so ready for her to leave, and it seems like I can't spend time with my family and be happy, because she's always there. :( sorry for all the typos. my hands are cold! ha, :]

It's probably a good thing she's leaving. If it continued your family would be involved in it when she crashes and sooner or later she will.Just wish her well and let her go. Her folks can have the problem.

It sound's like you gave this girl more than enough chaces and shes over staying her welcome!

There's unfortunately nothing you can really do about it...I mean, what can you do? She's leaving in a little over a week. You've confronted her and her parents, and they haven't taken action. She's their responsibility. I'd give her a warm farewell then be happy she's out of your life. She sounds like a bitch.

Just be glad she is leaving? Not much else you can do for them.
