how are students selected for the People to People study abroad program?
i got an invite to go to travel and study in england, france, belgium, and the netherlands during a 14 day period in the summer of 09

I got nominated from my teacher at school and went to the week trip to New York. Do not go on the p2p trip. I regret spending all that money. The trip was the worst week of my summer and hated it. I am not one to get homesick, but I cried every night because it was so impersonal and there was so many students. They have over 1,000 students signed up for the inauguration of the president. That shows you that they are just in it for the money. I warn you, DO NOT GO! It is a waste of money, if anything, spend the money on going with your family or studying abroad for a semester. People to People is a rip off and a waste. They are just in it for the money!
